Cote d'Or
Agency: Dentsu Creative Italy
Art direction, Video editing, Motion design
Côte d'Or is defined by its authentic, raw, and intense dark chocolate, a brand where the connection to the land of origin is paramount, mirroring the untamed force of nature. I served as the Art Director, Video Editor, and Motion Designer for this multichannel campaign, responsible for defining the visual identity across both digital and traditional platforms.
The project began with a digital-first approach, creating YouTube TrueView and Bumper ads and tailored social media content. This visual language was then scaled for a national TV commercial, which aired on all major Italian channels. I ensured a seamless transition from social feeds to the television screen, crafting a cohesive, high-impact aesthetic that reflects the brand’s powerful essence.

TV Commercial & Bumpers
My creative approach for Côte d'Or focused on a "raw and authentic" aesthetic. I utilized golden motion graphics as a bridge between the intensity of the product and the force of nature, overlaying these organic lines onto live-action photography.
The entire editing process was rhythm-driven, using a percussive soundtrack to enhance the storytelling. I handled the full production of a 15" YouTube Pre-roll and managed the versioning for multiple 6" Bumper ads, ensuring each product line maintained a consistent, premium feel across all digital touchpoints.

Social media
For Facebook, I adapted the pre-roll assets for optimized social viewing. On Instagram, I took it a step further by designing an immersive, interactive journey through Stories. Using a "tap-to-reveal" mechanic, I invited users to engage directly with the brand: a tap on the first story triggers a seamless transition where the chocolate bar snaps, instantly launching the full brand awareness film. This tactile approach turned a simple ad into a captivating sensory experience.
